Why Albert Rhesus?

The first pioneers of space flight were not humans, but animals. Among these first animals into space during the space-race were Rhesus monkeys. The first ever Rhesus monkey launched into space was named Albert, who was also the first to discover that you cannot breathe in space. His successor, Albert II survived his trip into space, only to meet his fate upon crashing back to Earth. The theme of this game is an homage to all the animals who, at great sacrifice, helped us venture into the unknowns of space.

In the world of Albert Rhesus, far in the future, corporations host events where animals are trained to race around unprobable track environments. Death is an almost certainty, but that is ok, these animals are replaceable.
